PTAG will be represented by Michael McBean at the Nuclear Energy Conference & Expo, August 24-27 in Dallas.

NECX brings together utilities, reactor developers, suppliers, and regulators to address the deployment and investment challenges shaping new nuclear builds. One issue stands out: how do owners manage cost, schedule, and construction performance when there is no fifth or sixth unit to benchmark against?

For first-of-a-kind and early fleet projects, strong project controls, construction management, and PMIS integration become even more critical. Owners need reliable baselines, clear visibility into field performance, disciplined change control, and integrated project data that supports timely decisions.

The goal is not simply better reporting. It is creating a project delivery environment where emerging risks, trends, and constraints can be identified early and managed with confidence.

Michael will be at NECX discussing how these disciplines need to adapt to the unique pressures of new nuclear projects and how the foundations established on early units can support more repeatable performance across future deployments.

PTAG Supports the 2026 Bruce Power Project Management Division Golf Tournament

PTAG is proud to support the 2026 Bruce Power Project Management Division Golf Tournament, held on August 19 at Blackhorse Golf and Country in Kincardine, Ontario.

Representing PTAG on the course were Kevin Murphy, Andrew Grant, and Chris Deidun, joining industry colleagues for a day that brought together community, collaboration, and a meaningful cause.

PTAG was pleased to sponsor the annual tournament in support of Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce, with 100% of proceeds helping advance affordable housing initiatives across Grey and Bruce counties.

Bruce Power has supported Habitat Grey Bruce since 2002, and PTAG is glad to continue standing alongside organizations that are making a tangible difference in the communities where we live and work.

We are proud to have been part of another successful event and to support a cause that helps build stronger communities across the region.

PTAG at the 2026 Rogers Charity Classic

PTAG will be at the Rogers Charity Classic, August 21 to 23 at Canyon Meadows Golf Club in Calgary.

The tournament brings together world-class PGA TOUR Champions golf with an important community mission. Over its history, the Rogers Charity Classic has generated more than $164 million in support of children and youth charities across Alberta, making it one of the province’s most impactful charitable sporting events.

That community impact is a big part of why the tournament continues to be an important event on PTAG’s calendar.

It is also a great opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, clients, and industry partners in a more relaxed setting, while supporting organizations that are creating meaningful opportunities for young people across Alberta.
