Ted Blackmon Receives CII’s 2026 James B. Porter, Jr. Award for Technology Leadership

PTAG congratulates Ted Blackmon on receiving the 2026 James B. Porter, Jr. Award for Technology Leadership at the Construction Industry Institute Annual Research Conference.

Ted’s work in Advanced Work Packaging has influenced how owners and contractors plan, sequence, and execute complex capital projects, and it continues to shape CII research and industry practice.

Throughout his career, Ted has helped advance practical approaches that improve coordination, execution readiness, and project performance. His contribution reflects the purpose of the Porter Award and the type of industry leadership PTAG is proud to support.
